Good form in recent runs is a key pointer as is fairly typical in Novices Hurdles. At least four horses here qualify for the list with single wins or places in their last three runs.
Notably here though unpenalized horses coming off a rest are favoured especially after a reasonably long lay-off (eg a month and a half). Pay attention if a horse is strongly supported by the market and note also that beaten favourites have a good record.
As with the other meeting today, beaten favourites (BFs) have a good record here. So too have trainers with a good winning record in hurdles generally. Horses with the usual winning characteristics of form and in-form jockeys can be out-run by horses like this.
